Schroth therapy

A specialized breathing and posture therapy used in the treatment of scoliosis.

Schroth therapy is a specialized breathing and postural therapy used in the treatment of scoliosis (curvature of the spine). In this method the patient corrects the body in three planes, reducing asymmetry, straightening posture and restoring deep breathing mechanics.

The exercises are selected individually to match the curvature of the spine. The child performs the exercises with correct breathing and body positioning. The goal is to help correct posture and keep the spine in a more correct position.

The therapy is used in both children and adults. A comprehensive approach combined with osteopathy, electrotherapy and rehabilitation gives faster and more stable results.
