Sometimes parents panic, asking “other people’s children are sitting up, why isn’t mine?” Remember — to sit up, not only the skeleton but also the muscles and the nervous system must be ready.
If the body has not yet fully moved into this stage, it is not right to rush it or force it with massage. Ordinary massage does not help in this case, because the main goal is not simply to relax the muscles — it is to activate them and support the nervous system.
This can be done with special child-appropriate exercises and osteopathic approaches. At our center, children receive an individual approach that includes the development of motor skills, muscle activation and osteopathic support.
