Facial asymmetry

One side of the face looking different from the other — the cause is not always in the face.

Osteopathy treats the body as a whole and looks for the root of the problem. First, the cause is identified during the examination; then, if needed, an individual rehabilitation plan is started: osteopathy, electrotherapy and physical modalities, massage and other approaches.

Stress, injuries and postural problems can cause facial asymmetry. Because conditions such as kyphosis and scoliosis create an imbalance in the spine, this effect spreads throughout the body — even as far as the face.
