Strength is built in the brain before the muscle

If there is weakness in a movement, the cause is not always a weak muscle.

Before every movement, the brain looks for the answer to one question: “Is this movement safe for me?”

  • Creates compensation — the work shifts to another muscle

Who is involved in this decision?

The visual system, the vestibular system (inner ear) and the proprioceptive system (the body’s sense of its own position) work together. This is exactly why some people do not gain strength no matter how much they train — the problem is not in the muscle, but in its control.

That is why the assessment checks not only muscle strength, but also the nervous system and movement control. The goal is to improve brain-body coordination and raise the quality of movement.
